When you want to clear your head, there’s nothing better than going for a long walk with a little fluffy bundle of joy. When I’m back in the motherland, Agnes likes to invite me to go out with her to explore the sights, sounds and smells of the Somerset countryside. This trip back home was no exception, so I popped on my wellies and off we headed, with Agnes taking the lead, and trotting along as fast as her little legs would carry her. When you live in a city like I do now, you really miss out on the gorgeous countryside. Luckily Agnes likes to stop every now and again to rummage in the undergrowth, so this gave me plenty of little opportunities to stop and admire my surroundings. With Agnes guiding our direction, we decided to go up the Glastonbury Tor. This is such an iconic and spiritual location, and offers great views over Somerset if you go up on a bright clear day. There is normally a good mix of locals and tourists up here, meaning plenty of new people for Agnes to meet and potentially beg some more treats from! When it’s such a lovely day, it’s wonderful to just lie down on the ground, nestled in the grass, and enjoy the cool breeze blowing along. However, this does come with the risk of being at the same level of Agnes’ mouth, so doggy kisses may be coming at you.I must have walked up the Glastonbury Tor so many times, yet I never ever get bored of the view. It never disappoints!Agnes and I could sit up there for hours. However, eventually, dinner beckoned, so we started on the long trek home. Both of us slept very well that night!
